Cool Things to Drink

Hello, Constant Readers. Keeping it short because I’ve been dealing with painful side effects of allergies. After last week’s keeping your cool, wine-wise, here’s some of the yummy things we had at last week’s supper club!

We kicked off the evening with some sparkly, La Vielle Ferme Brut. Another Full Pull purchase for about $12.

For the money, this is tough to beat. Great pear flavor, golden color. Perfect for anything chilled!

One of my guests brought this very nice Berger 2020 Grüner Veltliner too.

Grüner hails from Austria, and if you like sauvignon blanc or riesling, this will be right up your alley! It’s got great acidity. Pair this with chicken salad, shrimp cocktail, all kinds of good stuff.
